Horgan and D'Arcy fit for Leinster

Shane Horgan and Gordon D’Arcy have both been declared fit for Leinster’s Heineken Cup Quarter Final tie with the Leicester Tigers at Lansdowne Road on Saturday (KO: 5.15pm).

Horgan will start on the right wing and D’Arcy will have to settle for a place on the bench as Leinster seek to upset The Tigers. That means Felipe Contepom will join Brian O’Driscoll in the centre.

Ciaran Potts is the surprise selection at blindside. Eric Miller will be number eight and Victor Costello will be asked to make an impact from the bench. Ricky Nebbett has held off the claims of Emmet Byrne to line up beside Shane Byrne and captain Reggie Corrigan in the front row.

Meanwile, Leicester and England tight-head Julian White has recovered from injury to face Leinster at Lansdowne Road on Saturday. Same Vesty has been preferred to Austin Healey with Geordan Murphy slipping onto the wing. Ben Kay has been left outside the first fifteen and the Louis Deacon will partner captain Martin Johnson in the second row.
