Ronan O’Gara ruled out for Munster

Ronan O'Gara has been ruled out of Munster's Heineken Cup quarter final against Biarritz on Sunday week.

O'Gara underwent an MRI scan in Cork today after sustaining a knee ligament injury in the opening half of Munster's Celtic League game with Gwent Dragons in Rodney Parade last night

Team manager Jerry Holland said, "If there is any such thing as good news in this situation, it is that medical advice suggests that should Munster advance to the semi final (April 23rd) of the competition Ronan will be available."
