Ruddock happy not to be in Lions set-up

Wales coach Mike Ruddock insisted he is happy not to be involved in the British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand next year, despite spending the week with Clive Woodward.

The Welsh Rugby Union would not release any members of the national coaching team, so Lions boss Woodward approached Llanelli’s Gareth Jenkins to join his 26-strong backroom staff.
