Williams pleased with progress Down Under

Matt Williams reflected on his first tour in charge of Scotland today, on the back-to-back defeats to Australia, the victories over Samoa and NSW Country and the development of a host of young players and declared: “I could not have wished for more.”

From almost as soon as he was appointed, Williams had targeted this trip to form the backbone of all his long-term plans for the development of Scottish rugby.
