The Connacht team to play Edinburgh on Friday night at Meadowbank shows eight changes from that which went down to Celtic Warriors at the weekend, as coach Michael Bradley and his assistant John McKee continue their squad rotation system.

Five of the changes are up front with Dan McFarland and Bernard Jackman returning to the front. Damian Browne comes back into the second row, while John Muldoon and Tom Carter start in the backrow.

The half-back partnership alternates with Eric Elwood and Conor O¹Loughlin starting, with Shane Moore selected at inside centre, in a change which sees Mark McHugh revert to full-back with Matt Mostyn moving to the right-wing.

This will be the third time the teams have met this season, with honours even so far. Connacht defeated Edinburgh on the opening day of the season before being pipped by a point in the semi-final of the Celtic Cup.

Connacht (v Edinburgh): Mark McHugh; Matt Mostyn, Darren Yapp, Shane Moore, Conor McPhillips; Eric Elwood, Conor O¹Loughlin; Dan McFarland, Bernard Jackman, Adrian Clarke; Damian Browne, Andrew Farley; John Muldoon, Tom Carter, John O¹Sullivan.

Replacements: Marnus Uijs, Peter Bracken, Mike McCarthy, Paul Neville, Chris Keane, David Hewitt, Ted Robinson.
