Solomons names Ulster squad

Coach Alan Solomons has decided to name a 23-man squad for their must-win Heineken Cup home tie with Stade Francais at Ravenhill on Friday.

This is due to the short five-day gap between the loss to Gwent Dragons and the joust with Stade, who have already beaten Leicester Tigers.

Ballymena's Paddy Wallace has been added to last week's squad, from which a team and seven replacements will be chosen later in the week.

ULSTER SQUAD:

Backs: Bryn Cunningham, Paddy Wallace, Tyrone Howe, James Topping, Ryan Constable, Shane Stewart, Paul Steinmetz, David Humphreys, Adam Larkin, Neil Doak, Kieran Campbell;

Forwards:Robbie Kempson, Simon Best, Rod Moore, Matt Sexton, Paul Shields, Gary Longwell, Rowan Frost, Matt Mustchin, Neil Best, Andy Ward, Roger Wilson, Tony McWhirter.
