Mather to captain Edinburgh in Celtic Cup semi

Cammy Mather is set to captain Glasgow in their Celtic Cup semi-final against Ulster at Hughenden on Friday night - less than a week after playing for Scotland in the World Cup quarter-final against Australia.

The flanker arrived back in Edinburgh from Australia on Tuesday as Glasgow prepared for their showdown with Ulster.

"Cameron has been on the phone already. If he is fit he will play on Friday," said Hugh Campbell, Glasgow’s coach.
