Galthie doubtful for Baa-Baas

France captain Fabien Galthie may miss his side’s last match ahead of the World Cup after he injured his left wrist during training.

Les Bleus are playing the Barbarians in Narbonne on Saturday, but the inspirational 34-year-old scrum-half was forced to sit out training on Monday.

France will be keen to bounce back from their 45-14 mauling at the hands of England on September 6 before they travel to Australia – and the Baa-Bas clash represents their last chance to do so.

Galthie will retire after the World Cup, which runs from October 10 until November 22.
