Leinster's scrummaging coach Roly Meates has decided to stay with the province in preferrence to a lucrative move to help new Scotland coach Matt Willliams prepare for the 2004 Six Nations championship.

Leinster's scrummaging coach Roly Meates has decided to stay with the province in preferrence to a lucrative move to help new Scotland coach Matt Willliams prepare for the 2004 Six Nations championship.

It will come as a major boost to new Leinster coach Gary Ella, who is due to arrive in Dublin tomorrow to begin his mission of bringing the European Cup to Leinster.
