Connacht Rugby Awards to be held

The third annual Connacht Rugby Awards dinner will take place on Saturday week, May 17, in the Radisson SAS Hotel in Galway.

Nominations have been received in a variety of categories and on the night winners will be announced for Connacht Senior Player of the Season, as well as Junior, U-21, Youths, Schools and Ladies players of the season.

Awards will also be presented for Club of the Season, Connacht Rugby Person of the Season, Referee of the Season and the highlight will be the Connacht Hall of Fame recipient which last season was awarded to former Irish international Tony O¹Sullivan.

Tickets, costing €40 each, are available from the Connacht Branch office in the Galway Sportsground.
