Perpignan are set to be without former Irish Schools forward Phil Murphy for the next fortnight after a calf injury, although the Catalans insist he should be ready for the Heineken Cup Final in Dublin on May 24 against Toulouse.

Capped 15 times by the Canucks at Test level, the expected arrival of All Black Scott Robertson at Perpignan will almost certainly mean that Murphy leaves the club at the end of the current season, with reports linking him with Munster, as well as English club London Irish.

Perpignan have embarked on a major international shopping spree of late, with Wallaby centre Dan Herbert, Ireland lock Mick O'Driscoll and Leicester prop Perry Freshwater all confirmed for next season, while Kiwi Robertson and England wing Dan Luger have also been strongly linked with a move to the Stade Aime Giral outfit.
