Kenny Logan insists Scotland can look ahead to the World Cup with renewed confidence after finishing the RBS 6 Nations on a winning note.

The 30-year-old Wasps winger bowed out of the championship on a high with a man-of-the-match display that helped the Scots retain fourth place thanks to a 33-25 success over Italy at Murrayfield.

Logan revealed his intention to quit international rugby at the end of the World Cup in November after marking his 61st appearance with one of his side’s four tries.
