Lansdowne end Belfast unbeaten run
Lansdowne 22 Belfast Harlequins 20
Lansdowne ended Belfast Harlequins’ unbeaten record with a last-gasp victory on the back pitch at headquartes.
South African Hajay Derwin had put the Ulster side in front for the first time with a penalty after 72 minutes, but Lansdowne out-half Matthew Leek replied with his fifth penalty of the match two minutes from time to steal the points.
Belfast outscored their opponents by three tries to one and recovered from 13-0 down early on to dominate the game, but Adam Magro scored a try for Lansdowne and Leek’s accurate saw them home.
