Leamy replaces Williams for Munster

Alan Gaffney has named Denis Leamy instead of Jim Williams in his side to face Cearphilly on Friday night in the only change from last week's European Cup win over Perpignan.

Alan Gaffney has named Denis Leamy instead of Jim Williams in his side to face Cearphilly on Friday night in the only change from last week's European Cup win over Perpignan.

Gaffney has said that the absence of Jim WIlliams is merely a precautionary move. Jim has a slight knee injury, and it is in his and the teams best interest to rest for this game.

Munster: Dominic Crotty; John Kelly, Mike Mullins, Jason Holland, Mossie Lawlor; Ronan O'Gara, Peter Stringer; Marcus Horan, Frankie Sheahan, John Hayes, Mick Galwey, Mick O'Driscoll, Alan Quinlan, Denis Leamy, A Foley (Capt.).

Replacements: James Blaney, Simon Kerr, Peter Malone, Mike Prendergast, John O'Neill, Killian Keane.
