Larkin in for Ulster

Adam Larkin who wore the number 10 jersey for Ulster's two pre-season friendlies will assume the position again, in the absence of David Humphreys and Paddy Wallace against Neath this Friday.

Neil Doak will be his half-back partner and will take on the goal-kicking responsibility.

Jeremy Davidson (ear) and Warren Brosnihan (forehead) have both recovered from the injuries that required stitches last weekend but Tony McWhirter replaces Russell Nelson who has been troubled with an injury to an abducter muscle.

At present, Solomons' only main concern regarding his team selection is Johnny Bell.

Having suffered an ankle injury against Swansea he has also been hit with a dose of the flu which has hindered his recovery, although he was said to be feeling much better today.

Ulster has once again called on the services of "retired" stalwart Paddy Johns who has been named on the bench.

Due to work commitments Paddy has been training on his own although Solomons is confident he will able to handle himself if he gets onto the pitch.

Ulster: B Cunningham; J Topping, R Constable, J Bell (Capt), T Howe; A Larkin, N Doak; J Fitzpatrick, M Sexton, R Kempson, M Blair, J Davidson, W Brosnihan, N McMillan, T McWhirter. Replacements: S Best, P Shields, P Johns, N Best; K Campbell, S Stewart, S Young.
