All change for Scotland

Scotland coach Ian McGeechan has opted for wholesale changes for the game against Canada West tomorrow.

Scotland coach Ian McGeechan has opted for wholesale changes for the game against Canada West tomorrow.

McGeechan has selected a totally new side from the one which defeated Rugby Canada at the weekend, with tour newcomers Nathan Ross and Andrew Dall both making their debuts.

Scotland A captain Graeme Burns will lead the side with Edinburgh Gunners team-mate Tom Philip playing in his preferred role of inside-centre.

Andrew Henderson moves to the wing, while Ben Hinshelwood and Marcus Di Rollo swop roles from last week’s game in Kingston.

McGeechan said: ‘‘I’m trying to find out as much about the players.

‘‘I’m giving them the opportunities to play in their preferred positions and also to demonstrate their adaptability.’’
