Matt Dawson will replace Martin Johnson as England captain for Saturday’s clash with Ireland at Lansdowne Road.

Johnson fractured a bone in his left hand while playing for his club, Leicester Tigers, at the weekend.

Clive Woodward’s side are hoping to complete the Grand Slam.
