Lions Tour: Lions in comfortable half-time lead
NSW Country 3, Lions 29 (half-time)
Four tries and the accuracy of Neil Jenkins' boot have put the Lions into a 26-point half-time lead at Coff's Harbour against NSW Country.
Jenkins got the game underway with a penalty, which was followed by tries from Ben Cohen, Colin Charvis, Scott Gibbs and Austin Healey on the stroke of the interval.
Croft put a penalty over for the Australian amateurs to register a score in the first-half, but the Lions are in control ahead of Saturday's first test against Australia.
Just before the game started, a minute’s silence was held in a mark of respect for Australian Rugby Union liaison official Anton Toia, who died suddenly yesterday.
He had been attached to the Lions for their 10-match trip, and the tourists paid their own tributes by wearing black armbands.
