Six Nations: French include three new faces
French coach Bernard Laporte has picked three new faces in a 22-man squad for their April 7 Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham.
Montferrand prop Alessio Galasso, Biarritz flanker Christophe Milheres and Colomiers fly-half David Skrela came in to help out France's injury-hit squad, including Thomas Castaignede, Christian Califano and Emile N'Tamack.
Galasso and Skrela are likely to be on the replacement list, but it would not be a big surprise if Milheres partnered Olivier Magne as the other flanker.
Milheres has been playing well for Biarritz this season, particularly in the European Cup.
"Against the English, we will need flankers who can run," said Laporte, referring to Milheres.
"His chance has now come.
"The fact he can be used as a number eight as well interests us," added Laporte.
France are short of talent in the number eight spot because Francis N'Tamack is injured and Christophe Juillet is not in good form.
