Bottom side St. Mary’s put a big dent in Richmond’s Division 1 League ambitions, when a last minute converted try saw the Limerick derby finish all square 14-14.

The Saints took the lead with a try by David Byrne after thirty minutes which Sean Lyons converted.

Richmond were ahead 14-7 with tries from Gearoid Phelan and Pat Humphries. Brian Mullins converted both. In the final minute Niall Crooks scored a try for Mary’s and Lyons converted.
