Duncan Casey seals new deal at Munster

Hooker Duncan Casey has become the latest homegrown player to commit to Munster, signing a two-year contract as the province captured teenage centre Sam Arnold from Ulster for next season and saw former lock Ian Nagle rejoin the professional ranks with London Irish.

Casey, 25, set to return from pectoral surgery in April, yesterday put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him remain with the province until at least the summer of 2018.

Also signing up next season is Ireland U20 back Arnold, who made his Champions Cup debut for Ulster on the wing against Oyonnax in France last month. Current Munster academy lock Sean McCarthy also secured his future with the province yesterday, securing a one-year development deal.
