Eligibility objection delays Munster Schools Senior Cup

The Munster Schools Senior Cup has been held up after St Munchin’s lodged an objection against Ardscoil Rís, who defeated them 18-15 at Clifford Park last week.

St Munchin’s were due to travel to face Bandon Grammar School in the competition this afternoon but it has been deferred while a resolution is found to the objection.

St Munchin’s contend that Ardscoil fielded an illegal player in their defeat.
