It will be Trimble’s first match for Ulster since October 2014, having missed much of last season with a toe injury. He is selected on the left wing, Bowe starts on the right, with fellow international Craig Gilroy at full-back.

Luke Marshall moves out to 13 with Stuart McCloskey starting alongside him at inside-centre. Ian Humphreys and Paul Marshall, who scored a try in last week’s run-out against Leinster, continue in the half backs.

In the front row Andrew Warwick and Wiehahn Herbst start either side of Rob Herring, who is selected at hooker.
