Wales prop Jones out

Wales have suffered a major injury blow ahead as prop Adam Jones is ruled out of their autumn series.

Jones went off early in the second half during the Ospreys’ Heineken Cup defeat against Leicester last Sunday and now faces a lay-off of between six and 10 weeks.

Meanwhile Steffon Armitage will have to wait until next week to discover whether he will be banned by the French Rugby Federation for failing a drugs test after last season’s Top 14 final defeat by Toulouse.
