Focused Ryan ’ready for road’

The last few months haven’t been pleasant for Donnacha Ryan.

Having had to endure the pain of Ireland’s record-breaking defeat by New Zealand, Ryan’s pre-season was disrupted by a hip injury that prevented him playing until his re-emergence in South Wales last week.

But all the mental and physical pain has now been banished. The highly-rated second row made his mark as an impact substitute in Munster’s defeat by the Ospreys last weekend and is “ready for road” in tonight’s derby.
