Cork man charged after seizure of large sums of drugs and cash is denied bail

Man charged after €70,000 worth of cannabis and €49,000 worth of cocaine were disovered along with €29,000 in cash

Gardaí discovered €70,000 worth of cannabis in one of the Cork homes.

Drugs unit gardaí uncovered €70,000 worth of cannabis and €49,000 worth of cocaine — together with cash totalling just over €29,000 — from two different locations in Cork city.

At Cork District Court, a man facing multiple charges arising out of the investigation has been remanded in custody until February 19.
