Kidney: The young fellas deserve break

Ireland coach Declan Kidney has stood by his bold selections for Saturday’s test with Steve Hansen’s new-look All Blacks.

Kidney has handed Munster winger Simon Zebo his first start on the left wing, paired Brian O’Driscoll and Keith Earls together in an untried centre combination and has given the Ulster lock Dan Tuohy his first start in a major international.

“We have to put our best foot forward for Saturday, and play the best we can and I believe all the fellas I’ve picked are playing well and deserve a go, but there’s always fall out,” said Kidney.
