Leinster A cut loose

LEINSTER scored an emphatic away victory over Ulster in the ‘A’ Interprovincial at Donnybrook.

Ireland U20 fly-half Paddy Jackson stroked a fifth minute penalty to capture the lead for Ulster, the first of three for him in the first half, and scrum-half Ian Porter weighed in with another to leave it level, 12-all, at the break. However, the signs of Leinster superiority were there with a brace of tries from Andrew Conway and Hudson.

Hudson added a second try on 53 minutes before Hagan, Ruddock and Boyle went over.
