Munster trio released to face Ulster

MUNSTER trio Johne Murphy, John Hayes and Peter Stringer have been released from the national squad for the province’s Magners League clash with Ulster at Ravenhill on Friday night.

Murphy’s availability is a huge boost to coach Tony McGahan given the critical nature of Munster’s injury list in the back division, exacerbated by another setback for Keith Earls.

McGahan expected to call on the youngster this weekend but Earls (ankle injury) has been advised to rest as he battles to be fit for the Guinness November international against South Africa on Saturday week.
