O’Connell almost certain to miss semi

PAUL O’CONNELL is out of Munster’s Heineken Cup semi-final against Biarritz on Sunday, insist well placed sources.

The inspirational captain has a “five per cent chance out of 100” of playing in San Sebastian, though medical efforts to get him on the pitch will continue right up to match-time.

The mystery groin/pelvic problem is persisting despite constant care and treatment in recent weeks.
