Irish and English legends to line out for charity

SHANE BYRNE will lead an Ireland Legends rugby team against the England Legends at The Stoop in Twickenham on the eve of Ireland-England Six Nations game.

The Legends game was planned to raise funds for Stuart Mangan from Fermoy, paralysed in a rugby accident while playing for Hammersmith & Fulham RFC in April 2008.

Following the accident he required 24-hour medical care and The Stuart Mangan Appeal was launched to support this with a list of illustrious patrons including Keith Wood, Ronan O’Gara and Jason Leonard.
