No room for error now

FOR the second successive year, Munster have departed France’s Auvergne region with a bonus point they deserved, if only for the sheer grit and determination they displayed when under the fiercest pressure for much of the second half.

In the end, both sides seemed happy enough with the outcome of a hard-fought Heineken Cup battle and now interest switches to Thomond Park on Saturday for the return game.

Home advantage will obviously count but if Munster give away as many penalties as they did yesterday, they will be in serious trouble.
