Starlet Cipriani gets chance to shine against Scots

DANNY CIPRIANI has made no secret of his desire to become “the best in the world” when he lines up for England on Saturday against Scotland.

The prodigiously-gifted Wasps prospect will become England’s ninth full-back in 14 months since Brian Ashton replaced Andy Robinson as head coach.

While Ashton freely admitted the full-back position has proved problem for him during the last 20 Tests, Cipriani could stake long-term claims for England’s number 15 shirt, starting with the RBS 6 Nations clash at Murrayfield.
