Lineen hails his gutsy Glasgow warriors

GLASGOW supremo Sean Lineen hailed his side’s stubborn defensive display in their surprise success against Biarritz and insisted they will not be going to France for the return next weekend on a damage limitation mission.

Warriors were under the cosh for the frantic final 15 minutes as the visitors cranked up the pressure. However, they survived with a sterling display of marking and tackling.

Fly-half Dan Parks kicked three penalty goals as Glasgow held their nerve to open up Pool Four.
