Sunday’s Well aiming to turn back the clock at Temple Hill

A SHORT time can make such a difference — ask anyone in Sunday’s Well, the club that barely survived in senior rugby last season.

The third division outfit lies in sixth position in the AIB League and tonight at Temple Hill (7.30pm) challenge for a place in the final of the Munster Senior Cup, trying to turn back the clock to 1994 since the last such appearance.

That year, indeed, was a red letter day when they fashioned a rare win in the competition by beating Young Munster.
