Irish refs set to take charge
Two Irish referees, Alain Rolland and Alan Lewis, have been appointed by the International Rugby Board to take charge of games at the weekend.
Rolland will officiate at the repeat of the 2003 World Cup decider between Australia and England at Marseille on Saturday afternoon (2pm) while Lewis will take charge of the clash of South Africa and Fiji at the same venue 24 hours later.
England’s Wayne Barnes is referee for the meeting of New Zealand and France at Cardiff on Saturday with Joel Jutge on duty for the last eight clash of Argentina and Scotland at Stade de France, Paris on Sunday.
