THOUGH Eddie O’Sullivan’s squad have returned home, Ireland will be represented at the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals next weekend.

Irish refs set to take charge

Two Irish referees, Alain Rolland and Alan Lewis, have been appointed by the International Rugby Board to take charge of games at the weekend.

Rolland will officiate at the repeat of the 2003 World Cup decider between Australia and England at Marseille on Saturday afternoon (2pm) while Lewis will take charge of the clash of South Africa and Fiji at the same venue 24 hours later.
