Sweat for Tindall as Ashton moves early on Cup squad

THE agonising waiting game for England’s World Cup hopefuls could be over sooner than expected.

England boss Brian Ashton has started applying the finishing touches to his 30-man World Cup squad.

And it might now be revealed today, ahead of the planned Tuesday lunchtime announcement in Bath, provided all i’s are dotted, t’s crossed and those players who have suffered World Cup heartbreak can be individually contacted by the head coach.
