THE Irish Rugby Union Players Association (IRUPA) announced their nominations for Irish rugby’s ultimate accolade, the BT Players’ Player of the Year.

Who will be Players’ player?

Six awards will be presented at a ceremony on Wednesday, April 25, in O’Reilly Hall, UCD, Dublin.

Several of Ireland’s Triple Crown winning heroes dominate the nominations and amongst the favourites to land the coveted Players’ Player of the Year are Gordon D’Arcy and Munster duo John Hayes and David Wallace.

Mark McHugh, Chairman of IRUPA said, “Winning an award voted for by players who you play and compete against is the best tribute for any player.”

There are also several talented players up for the IRUPA Irish Mortgage Corporation Newcomer of the Year Award including Leinster’s Luke Fitzgerald Connacht’s Daniel Riordan and Ulster Stephen Ferris.
