Wallace and Leamy miss Ospreys outing
Wallace (back) and Leamy (elbow) have been given time to recover from their respective ailments which are not, however, deemed to be serious.
It will probably be a welcome break for the two Irish back-row players who have been to the forefront of the representative scene this season, but Munster won’t be left without a serious element of experience for this Magners League clash. Both Anthony Foley and Alan Quinlan will be selected along with John O’Sullivan, with James Coughlan the probable back up.
The coach, Declan Kidney, has chosen five second row forwards in a squad of 29 on the basis that Mick O’Driscoll (rib) and Chris Wyatt (calf) are still struggling for full fitness.
In the backs, Peter Stringer (shoulder) and Trevor Halstead (knee strain) are both on the doubtful list, but neither injury is deemed to be serious.
