Wilkinson to miss Scots clash

JONNY WILKINSON is almost certain to miss England’s opening RBS 6 Nations clash against Scotland next month, according to his fitness coach.

The 27-year-old Newcastle Falcons fly-half was named in England’s 33-man Six Nations squad yesterday.

“I don’t think Jonny will be ready for the Scotland game on February 3,” Newcastle fitness coach Steve Black said.
