ONE-TIME Munster great Michael Bradley insisted after yesterday’s game that he never doubted that Munster, Leinster and Ulster would be Ireland’s representatives in next season’s Heineken Cup.

So the Connacht coach insisted he wasn’t too disappointed at losing yesterday’s Magners League clash to Munster and that their ambition all season had been to finish above the last Welsh and Scottish teams (probably Ospreys and Borders) and so get into a play-off with one of the Italian sides.

There’s no doubt that they are well capable of doing at least that, although their chances of catching Munster are remote, having fallen six points behind them with a game more played.
