THEY may have struggled to beat Italy in Rome, but Australia will prove a huge obstacle for Ireland to negotiate in Lansdowne Road this Sunday, according to David Wallace.

Coach John Connolly admitted it was the Wallabies’ worst performance since he took charge, with problems in the scrum compounded by a below-par display from their highly-rated back line.

With the media back home also on their back, and only nine tests left to play before next year’s World Cup, Wallace believes the tourists are ready to deliver a sting in the tail at Lansdowne Road after their hiccups at the Stadio Flaminio.
