Bulls’ rampage at Castle Avenue

storming second half display from Clontarf Bulls saw it clinch the Rugby League Ireland Conference title at Castle Avenue with a 32-30 win over the Dublin Blues.

The Blues led at half time 20-14, but two early tries in the second half turned the game on its head.

The Blues were temporarily reduced to 10 men on the hour when Simon Lewis was sin-binned for an off-the-ball incident and Clontarf made numerical advantage count when Gary Kavanagh sprinted 40 metres to extend its lead.
