Woodward linked with switch to soccer

ENGLAND coach Clive Woodward will meet the RFU’s top official today amid increased speculation about his future.

And following discussions between Woodward and RFU chief executive Francis Baron, further light could be shed on a saga which has sent shockwaves through the worlds of soccer and rugby union.

Woodward has found himself linked with a potentially-lucrative move to English soccer, and is understood to have already begun investigating how he can obtain the licences required for top-level football coaching.
