Borders no obstacle as Llanelli run continues
The defending champions ran in six tries in all, with Tongan wing Aisea Havili claiming two of those to add to his two against Glasgow in the Heineken Cup last weekend.
After a dismal start to the campaign the Scarlets have now won five of their last six matches, while the Scottish side remain rooted to the basement with just one victory to date.
The Scarlets raced into a 10-0 lead in nearly as many minutes with all the points coming from fly-half Gareth Bowen. After putting his side in front with a third-minute penalty, Bowen then danced over from short range for a try he also converted.
The Borders did hit back straight after the break when Scotland wing Simon Danielli slipped past some weak defence to cross in the corner, but the respite was only short-lived.
