Slam-seeker Shanklin set on shackling O’Driscoll

THE Wales players and management dusted themselves down yesterday after a richly-successful Edinburgh mission and took stock of their next opponents.

"We were brought down from cloud nine in the second half," said centre Tom Shanklin, recalling Scotland's 'recovery' from 43-3 adrift.

"A lot of people coming off that pitch, myself included, were more tired than they were after the French game. We defended for most of the second half and it took a lot out of the players."
