Confident Henson hopes to let his rugby do the talking

GAVIN HENSON will finally get his chance as the Lions’ centre of attention on Saturday - a week after experiencing Test match “rejection.”

Henson has made no secret of the misery inflicted by Clive Woodward’s decision not to select him for the first test, but now he knows his rugby must now do the talking.

“It is a horrible thing, rejection - it is not nice. You do take a look at yourself and think ‘are you as good as you think you are?’ but my confidence is really high and I am just looking forward to going out and trying to meet everyone’s expectations.
