Head coach Robinson intends being around for the long haul, although pressure on his position will inevitably mount after the world champions once again finished outside Europe’s top three.

Robinson’s current contract incorporates the World Cup in France next year, and despite England winning just eight out of 16 Tests since he succeeded Clive Woodward, his Rugby Football Union bosses look certain to back him.
