O’Mahony departs Saracens

Irish international wing Darragh O’Mahony has left Saracens by mutual consent.

The 30-year-old joined Saracens from Bedford in 1999, and was his new club’s top try scorer for the next two seasons, going on to make 142 appearances.

“It’s always extremely difficult when we are forced to make squad decisions like this, especially with a player like Darragh, who has been a great servant to the club over a long period,” said Saracens head coach Rod Kafer.
