Pumas hit by injuries for Lions clash

The Argentinian national team have lost three key players for the May 23 duel against the Lions in Cardiff.

Lucas Ostiglia, Martin Durand and Marcos Ayerza are injured and ruled out of the match.

Padova back row forward Ostiglia has a knee injury while Durand has twisted his right ankle.

Newman’s prop Ayerza has a shoulder problem sustained in Argentinian domestic rugby.

Also like to miss out are Stade Francais scrum-half Agustin Pichot, Rodrigo Roncero and Toulouse’s Omar Hasan who will play in the Heineken Cup final the day before.
